Sales Engineer – Stone Surface Solutions

At StoneX USA, we blend engineering expertise, design innovation, and craftsmanship to deliver premium natural and engineered stone surface solutions for architectural and interior design projects across the United States. We are looking for a Sales Engineer with strong technical knowledge and a passion for materials and design to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze client project specifications and design requirements to recommend the most suitable natural or engineered stone surface solutions.

  • Apply mechanical engineering principles (material strength, thermal performance, durability) to ensure that selected granite, marble, quartz, or quartzite slabs meet both structural and aesthetic needs.

  • Provide technical pre-sales consultation to architects, interior designers, and contractors.

  • Match customer specifications with the best-suited stone materials and custom fabrication solutions.

  • Advise clients on product features, fabrication processes, and installation requirements to ensure full alignment with project goals.

  • Customize and configure stone product solutions for countertops and other stone installations.

  • Advise on installation methods and structural support requirements for stone surfaces.

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals, outlining recommended stone solutions, material specifications, fabrication plans, and performance advantages.

  • Stay current with advancements in stone materials, fabrication technologies, and industry standards, and integrate innovative developments (e.g., new engineered stone products or cutting techniques) into sales strategies and client recommendations.

  • Develop technical content for sales presentations and other materials to support business development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or a closely related field.

  • 12 months full-time experience in the offered job required.

Job Details

  • Compensation: $88,650.00 per year

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
