Calacatta Apex

Calacatta Apex is an engineered quartz with a white base and wide, soft grey veins that loop around small pockets of white as they cross the slab. Between the main veins, short hairline squiggles are scattered across the surface, and the polish is glossy.

        Does Calacatta Apex need to be sealed?

        No. Engineered quartz is non-porous, so Calacatta Apex never needs sealing. Clean it with warm water and a mild detergent; use a trivet under hot pans, because sustained heat can damage the resin binder.

        What is Calacatta Apex best used for?

        Kitchen countertops, islands, bathroom vanities, backsplashes and commercial surfaces. We do not recommend engineered quartz outdoors, because UV exposure can fade the resin over time.

        Can I buy Calacatta Apex if I already have a fabricator?

        Yes. Come to the gallery, tag the engineered quartz slab you want, and your fabricator collects it. We also sell directly to fabricators, builders and remodelers across the Milwaukee area on wholesale terms.
