Calacatta Cascade

Calacatta Cascade is an engineered quartz with a white base and medium grey veins that run diagonally across the slab and split into branches. The main veins are long and clearly drawn, with finer lines joining them into a loose network.

In the close-up slab image the veins are grey on white, with no gold. The long diagonal lines make it a good match for a waterfall edge, where a vein can be carried over the mitred corner. As an engineered stone, slabs follow the same design, which keeps several slabs looking alike.

 Characteristics

  • Look: White with long, branching grey veins on the diagonal.

  • Vein direction: Decide with your fabricator which way the diagonals should run on each piece so they meet cleanly at seams. The grey is fairly neutral, so it works with white, grey or black cabinets.

  • Matching: Slabs are made to the same pattern rather than being one of a kind. That makes long counters and islands easier to plan.

  • Heat and wear: It resists stains and ordinary scratches, but hot cookware can mark the resin. Keep a trivet by the cooktop.

  • Care: It never needs sealing. Wipe it with mild soap and water and skip abrasive cleaners.

    Calacatta Cascade questions

Is Calacatta Cascade in stock as a full slab?

Calacatta Cascade is not currently stocked; it is available to order. Call 414-998-0404 for lead time, or check live inventory for a similar colour available now.

Does Calacatta Cascade need to be sealed?

No. Engineered quartz is non-porous, so Calacatta Cascade never needs sealing. Clean it with warm water and a mild detergent; use a trivet under hot pans, because sustained heat can damage the resin binder.

What is Calacatta Cascade best used for?

Kitchen countertops, islands, bathroom vanities, backsplashes and commercial surfaces. We do not recommend engineered quartz outdoors, because UV exposure can fade the resin over time.

Can I buy Calacatta Cascade if I already have a fabricator?

Yes. Come to the gallery, tag the engineered quartz slab you want, and your fabricator collects it. We also sell directly to fabricators, builders and remodelers across the Milwaukee area on wholesale terms.
