Calacatta Glory

Calacatta Glory is an engineered quartz; in the manufacturer’s slab image it has a warm white base with soft, pale grey-beige veins. The veins wave across the slab on a diagonal in roughly parallel bands, which gives it a calm, flowing look rather than a busy one.

The veins are a light warm grey; there is no strong gold in the manufacturer image. We do not have a photo of this slab on our racks, so ask to see a real slab to judge the warmth of the white.

 Characteristics

  • Look: Warm white with soft, parallel diagonal veins in pale grey-beige (per the manufacturer image).

  • Layout: The parallel bands look best when they run the same direction on every piece, so plan the cut with your fabricator.

  • Wear: It resists stains and everyday scratches; keep hot pans on a trivet, because quartz resin can be marked by heat.

  • Care: No sealing is needed. Wipe it with mild soap and water.

  • Uses: Kitchen countertops and islands, vanity tops and backsplashes; the warm white pairs well with cream or wood cabinets.

    Calacatta Glory questions

Is Calacatta Glory in stock as a full slab?

Calacatta Glory is not currently stocked; it is available to order. Call 414-998-0404 for lead time, or check live inventory for a similar colour available now.

Does Calacatta Glory need to be sealed?

No. Engineered quartz is non-porous, so Calacatta Glory never needs sealing. Clean it with warm water and a mild detergent; use a trivet under hot pans, because sustained heat can damage the resin binder.

What is Calacatta Glory best used for?

Kitchen countertops, islands, bathroom vanities, backsplashes and commercial surfaces. We do not recommend engineered quartz outdoors, because UV exposure can fade the resin over time.

Can I buy Calacatta Glory if I already have a fabricator?

Yes. Come to the gallery, tag the engineered quartz slab you want, and your fabricator collects it. We also sell directly to fabricators, builders and remodelers across the Milwaukee area on wholesale terms.
