New Stone Arrivals: Coffee Brown, Matarazzo Polished, Monalisa Marble and River White
StoneX USA has added four new natural stone slabs to the racks at our West Allis, WI slab gallery near Milwaukee: Coffee Brown granite in both polished and leathered faces, Matarazzo dolomite quartzite in a new polished finish, Monalisa polished marble, and a fresh bundle of River White leathered granite. All four are full slabs you can walk up to today — here is what each one looks like in person, and where it works best.
Coffee Brown Granite — one stone, two surfaces
Coffee Brown is a deep espresso granite that reads near-black across a room and resolves into a fine, even mineral grain up close — no veins, no banding, just calm speckled depth with small silvery feldspar glints. What makes this arrival unusual is the dual finish: the bundle carries both polished and leathered faces of the same stone. Polished gives you the classic dark-granite mirror; leathered takes the shine off and leaves a soft, tactile surface that hides fingerprints and water spots — a favorite for busy kitchen islands and bar tops.

Matarazzo Polished — the glossy side of a quiet favorite
We have carried Matarazzo in a honed finish for a while — this is the same beloved stone with a polished surface. Long taupe-grey veins stream horizontally across a pale pearl ground like slow-moving water, gathering into denser rippled bands in one corner of the slab. The polish deepens the vein contrast and adds a soft glassy sheen that the matte honed version deliberately avoids.
Matarazzo is a dolomitic quartzite: harder than marble, comfortable in daily-use kitchens, and calm enough to pair with strong cabinetry colors — navy, sage, or warm oak. Full details on the Matarazzo Polished product page.
Monalisa Marble — warm white with real personality
Monalisa is a warm white marble with a visibly crystalline, sugary ground — it glows under light instead of sitting flat. Soft dove-grey passages sweep diagonally across the slab, and on one side they gather into a striking fan-shaped cascade of lace-like texture. Look closer and you find tiny black and olive-green mineral flecks with the occasional amber dot: the kind of detail that makes natural marble impossible to imitate.

River White Leathered — soft matte, quiet movement
A fresh bundle of River White leathered granite has landed. The stone carries a cool grey-white ground combed with fine horizontal striations — like brushed silk — under a soft matte leathered surface that diffuses light and forgives fingerprints. It is the low-maintenance answer to a light countertop: quiet movement without the strong contrast of a veined marble look.
