Does Avalanche need to be sealed?
Yes, and with care. Avalanche is calcium carbonate, so acids such as lemon juice or vinegar can etch the surface even when sealed. A penetrating sealer reduces staining; many owners accept the patina that develops with use.
What is Avalanche best used for?
Bathroom vanities, fireplace surrounds, pastry and baking stations, and feature walls. In a heavily used kitchen, expect etching and patina.
Can I buy Avalanche if I already have a fabricator?
Yes. Come to the gallery, tag the marble slab you want, and your fabricator collects it. We also sell directly to fabricators, builders and remodelers across the Milwaukee area on wholesale terms.
