Fresco Antico

Fresco Antico is an engineered quartz with a white to light grey base covered in irregular patches, with bright teal and turquoise areas and thin blue-grey lines running between them. It is a bold, colourful surface rather than a quiet white; the teal is clearly visible from across a room.

In our warehouse photos of a full slab and a close-up, the pattern is mottled rather than veined, with no beige tones. The patchy look recalls an old painted wall, which suits the name, and as an engineered stone the pattern repeats closely from slab to slab.

 Characteristics

  • Look: White to light grey with dense teal and turquoise patches and fine blue-grey lines.

  • Pairing: The teal works best with white, grey or navy cabinets; pick paint and tile after seeing the slab, because the colour is strong.

  • Wear: It resists stains and everyday scratches. Hot pans can mark the resin, so use a trivet.

  • Care: It never needs sealing. Clean it with mild soap and water and avoid abrasive pads.

    Fresco Antico questions

Is Fresco Antico in stock as a full slab?

Fresco Antico is not currently stocked; it is available to order. Call 414-998-0404 for lead time, or check live inventory for a similar colour available now.

Does Fresco Antico need to be sealed?

No. Engineered quartz is non-porous, so Fresco Antico never needs sealing. Clean it with warm water and a mild detergent; use a trivet under hot pans, because sustained heat can damage the resin binder.

What is Fresco Antico best used for?

Kitchen countertops, islands, bathroom vanities, backsplashes and commercial surfaces. We do not recommend engineered quartz outdoors, because UV exposure can fade the resin over time.

Can I buy Fresco Antico if I already have a fabricator?

Yes. Come to the gallery, tag the engineered quartz slab you want, and your fabricator collects it. We also sell directly to fabricators, builders and remodelers across the Milwaukee area on wholesale terms.

Fresco Antico in Kitchens and Bathrooms

Three design visualizations showing how Fresco Antico reads at room scale: as a full-height kitchen backsplash, on a bathroom vanity, and on a waterfall-edge island. Each one was generated from the photograph of the actual slab on this page, so the natural stone pattern, colour and finish match the stone we stock in West Allis.
