Mikonos

Mikonos is a natural quartzite with a bright white to soft white background and fine, linear veining in gray and taupe. The veins run in long, layered lines across the slab, giving it a calm, light look. Supplier labels sometimes spell it Mykonos.

We carry Mikonos as 3 cm full slabs in two finishes, polished and honed. In the photos of our current bundles the background is white with a faint cream cast in some slabs, and thin gray, beige and taupe lines run roughly parallel along the slab with soft, wavy layering between them. Vein density differs between bundles, so compare the actual slabs before you choose.

Key Features

• Linear Veining: Fine gray and taupe lines run in long, layered bands rather than bold swirls.

• Two Finishes: Polished sharpens the gray veins against the white; honed gives a smooth matte surface with softer contrast.

• Bundle Variation: Vein density and warmth differ between bundles, so compare full slabs.

• 3 cm Full Slabs: Approximately 121–132 x 78–80 inches, depending on the bundle.

✨ Mikonos suits kitchens, islands and vanities where a light, calm natural stone is wanted. As a natural quartzite it is sealed after installation, and spills such as oil, wine and coffee should be wiped up promptly.
