Calacatta Swing

Calacatta Swing is an engineered quartz with a white base and a network of thin grey veins that divide the surface into large, irregular cells. In the full slab we photographed on our racks, the veins are fine lines rather than bold bands, so the slab reads mostly white.

The lines curve and join across the whole slab, with no single direction dominating. Our inventory lists it as a polished 3 cm slab.

 Characteristics

  • Look: White with a web of thin grey veins forming large cells.

  • Seams: Because the lines run in all directions, a seam can often follow an existing vein and stay hard to see.

  • Matching: As an engineered stone, slabs repeat the same design. That keeps a kitchen that needs more than one slab consistent.

  • Wear: It resists stains and everyday scratches, but not direct heat. Put hot pans on a trivet, since quartz resin can be marked.

  • Care: No sealing is needed. Mild soap and water handle everyday cleaning.

    Calacatta Swing questions

Is Calacatta Swing in stock as a full slab?

Calacatta Swing is sold as full slabs through our West Allis slab gallery near Milwaukee, where you can see the complete piece — and how the pattern runs across it — before you commit. Stock moves week to week, so check live inventory or call 414-998-0404 to confirm whether Calacatta Swing is on the racks now.

Does Calacatta Swing need to be sealed?

No. Engineered quartz is non-porous, so Calacatta Swing never needs sealing. Clean it with warm water and a mild detergent; use a trivet under hot pans, because sustained heat can damage the resin binder.

What is Calacatta Swing best used for?

Kitchen countertops, islands, bathroom vanities, backsplashes and commercial surfaces. We do not recommend engineered quartz outdoors, because UV exposure can fade the resin over time.

Can I buy Calacatta Swing if I already have a fabricator?

Yes. Come to the gallery, tag the engineered quartz slab you want, and your fabricator collects it. We also sell directly to fabricators, builders and remodelers across the Milwaukee area on wholesale terms.

Calacatta Swing in Kitchens and Bathrooms

Three design visualizations showing how Calacatta Swing reads at room scale: as a full-height kitchen backsplash, on a bathroom vanity, and on a waterfall-edge island. Each one was generated from the photograph of the actual slab on this page, so the natural stone pattern, colour and finish match the stone we stock in West Allis.
