Does Calacatta Toscana need to be sealed?
No. Engineered quartz is non-porous, so Calacatta Toscana never needs sealing. Clean it with warm water and a mild detergent; use a trivet under hot pans, because sustained heat can damage the resin binder.
What is Calacatta Toscana best used for?
Kitchen countertops, islands, bathroom vanities, backsplashes and commercial surfaces. We do not recommend engineered quartz outdoors, because UV exposure can fade the resin over time.
Can I buy Calacatta Toscana if I already have a fabricator?
